When you sign up with Guild Education, you may have a few questions about how it all works. We’re happy to help!
What is Guild?
Guild Education works with employers and academic institutions to facilitate tuition payment for students.
Your employer works with Guild to provide funding for your education program, and for some programs, Guild sends that funding directly to your school. This is known as “Tuition Assistance.” For these programs, we help to enroll students at our partner schools. Our programs are fully online and geared toward working adults.
Some employers also offer “Tuition Reimbursement,” which means that students pay for their programs first, and then their employer provides funding directly back to them. To learn more about the differences between Tuition Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement, click here!
Getting Started
The first step to get started is to sign up and create an account on the Guild website. Your employer may have a specific landing page on our website, or you can go directly to students.guildeducation.com.
When signing up, you will need to verify who your employer is. Depending on your employer, you may be required to log in through your employer’s platform or verify your contact information.
Once you’re logged in, you can browse the website to learn more about your benefits and the programs available!
- By visiting the Home page, you can learn about your eligibility and benefits
- By visiting the Programs page, you can view the programs available and submit a free application directly from the catalog
- To apply to a program, find the program page of your choice in the catalog, and click the Start Free Application button
- Your required steps for the application will be listed on the program page. Note that at some point in the application process, you may be required to submit transcripts or fill out your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- If you have questions about which program is the best fit, or how to fill out your application, you can always contact an Education Coach for help! You can schedule a time to talk with an expert coach from your Home page.
- Once your application is processed, you will receive an email and/or phone call from our team explaining your next steps. For some programs, there will be an additional program-specific application to complete, and you will have a coach to guide you through this process.
- If you haven’t heard back on your next steps within 1-2 weeks after submitting your application, you can submit a Contact a Coach form and we're happy to assist!
