You’ll need to take your placement exam from a computer, not a mobile phone.
When you first log-in to Rosetta Stone from the Guild site for the first time, Rosetta Stone will prompt you to take the placement test. You should find a quiet place where you can focus for up to 45 minutes, and test your headphones or speakers in advance. When you’re ready, just click Get Started.
The placement exam is made up of mostly multiple choice questions. Based on the language scenario (fill in the blank, comprehension, matching, etc.), you’ll click on what you think is the best answer. It’s ok if you’re not sure, there’s no penalty for guessing. Rosetta Stone will use even wrong answers to get information about your exact language level. There’s a bar above the questions that will show you your progress through each section of the test.
