While working with Guild, you may hear the terms “Tuition Reimbursement” and “Tuition Assistance” and not know the difference. Since they are different processes, we’re happy to help explain!
Here at Guild Education, we work with specific partner universities to add benefits such as discounted tuition and free one-on-one advising. These universities are considered “In-Network.” If you’re attending a school that isn’t partnered with Guild, then it’s considered an “Out-of-Network” school.
If you work for an employer who offers Tuition Reimbursement through Guild but you’re attending an “Out-of-Network” school, you will apply for Tuition Reimbursement on reimbursement.guildeducation.com.
If you’re attending one of Guild’s “In-Network” partners and you’re eligible for your company’s education benefit, you will utilize Tuition Assistance. This implies that your employer will pay up-front for your education as long as you meet their requirements. While enrolling in your program, your Student Success Advisor will help you to get this set up.
